About Me

I’m a freelance writer working out of Chicago. I’m a horror hound, anime fan, massive cinephile, and all-around geek.

I strive to continually inspire people to think critically about not just media, but the world around them. I’m an amateur academic, a feminist, and in a love/hate relationship with postmodernism.

The film that made me want to go into movies was Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy. A few of my favorite films are Lupin the III: Castle of Cagliostro, John Dies at the End, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This site is an archive of my writing going back to 2012, meaning many older pieces and blog posts aren’t relevant to my writing style anymore or are incredibly personal. I keep them there for my own sake, to remind me of where I’ve been.
